I love doing the show and hopefully that passion comes across on screen as well. I just enjoy myself every time I am out there.

Doing that (the comedy gig) has been very enjoyable,

It is, yes, it is, ... It is a platform to be able to say what I want to say.

People don't expect this kind of material from me but we have done edgy stuff on Rove Live . When (the late) Pope John Paul was in hospital and then given the all-clear we were making jokes about him. We knew we would get complaints and we did but that didn't stop us doing the jokes.

(But) the more celebrities that I meet, I find them to be really down to earth people in the most part.

We constantly evolve the show as best we can, not just at the start of every year but week to week,

There is marginal room for error and you are working in front of a large crowd. Getting back on stage is something that I have really enjoyed.

You can definitely tell when people are feeling uncomfortable with the more political material,

It is nice to have that reputation that when people land in the country, they want to be part of the show.

He rules the country by fear and you can see the Government here wanting to do the same thing, but what's the point? History has dictated you can have all the security measures in the world with all these people taking their shoes off and dropping their nail files into boxes before they get on to a plane and, guess what, the terrorist will be on the train. You can't make people be afraid all the time. It is no way to live your life and no way to govern a country.
